Am on the train and suddenly think of a special incident I met. Yap, is about Japanese police. I was waiting for my friend at the train station(駅，えき，eki), suddenly a guy approached me and show me his ID and it was the police ID, I was confused and so he asked for my name and he want to check my bag.

My bag was filled with my camera(カメラ，kamera), and my Sony Rolly(ローリー, ro-ri-), and make my bag looked fat, but it looked suspicious for him. So I was very cooperative and show him what I got and included my passport(パスポート，Pasupo-to). But when he saw the passport, he was very surprised as I am actually a foreigner(外国人，がいこくじん，Gaikoku-jin). For me, it was not the first time I been mistaken as Japanese.. Aiks..
Anyway, after that he say "Sorry" to me instead of Sumimasen(Sorry in Japanese). Haha.. In this incident, I can know the difference between Japanese Police and Malaysian Police.. The way they asking, act... Totally different.. Malaysian police do scared people, Haha.. Always want a cup of coffee.. :P

I think some people do know about this product, but too bad it did not launched at Malaysia, but I think Mid Valley Sony Style got showcase.. Maybe is the market problem.. quite costly.. but i got it for nearly a 50% off.. which is used but new... :p

Well, short introduction, Rolly is digital robotic music player from Sony.. It will dance to the music.. The motion data can be set by using the software called Motion Editor that came with it, or let it dance by its own intelligence.. but 1GB memory only..

Another interesting thing to share, an instant camera which is Fujifilm Instant Camera Instax Mini 10, model from year 1998.
But it only cost me 1050yen which is around RM40++.. even the batteries i bought for it are more expensive.. Haha..
Above is the picture of it and some photo I had taken, among the photos are failure... :P
By the way, very satisfied with it, since the size of the photo is 2R, easy to keep in wallet or card holder.. :)

Finally, Google announced their own browser! It is called - Google Chrome. Can't wait for it to release. Beta version of Google Chrome said to be released on 2nd September 2008 in more than 100 countries. Hope that Malaysia are in the list.

One of the special features for this Google Chrome is:

1. If one tab crash, whole browser will not crash, since each tab will have their own independent process.

2. The tab are located on TOP of the window and not IN the window.

Big Rice Dumpling!

Is time to eat rice dumpling again! It is the Rice Dumpling Festival or also known as Dragon Boat Festival. In Chinese, 端午节(Duan Wu Jie)..
I had ordered a special Rice Dumpling from a famous shop at Lebuh Cintra. Picture of the shop are shown below.

There are lots of dumplings in the shop!! Because is the season!!

And now.. behold.. the Big Rice Dumpling (菓蒸粽) which is around 1.5kg!! Around 15cm width and 9cm height!! Wow...

And the portion is enough for 6 people!! The ingredients of this Big Rice Dumpling included duck meat, chicken, egg, pork, mushroom, beans and lots... Wow.. It is really special.. Haha.. I think next year might take an order again. Haha.

Well.. I think Malaysian know what happen to this RM2.70..

Yes. The petrol price increase again in Malaysia. It is now RM2.70 per liter
and compared to the old price which is RM1.92 per liter.. It is the highest increment so far.. Although my car is small but it still need petrol!!

Aiks.. Everything increase except salary.. :P

I cannot imagine the price of the food.. There will be a chain reaction for sure.. Oh my.. This time eat sand lo..

Any idea to overcome? She say work from home wo... Need to car pool for working already.. aiks aiks..

Yap, I'm back to Malaysia already. Taking plane on 1st April then direct go for work on the next day. :P Then, start my busy working life again. "Programmer's life".. not easy.. then the first weekend back to Malaysia, went to Kuala Lumpur to meet my family. Again, back for work, then the next weekend, go to Cameron Highlands. Haha. "Busy~"

Well, I will post about the trip to Cameron Highlands of course and some more about Japan, especially Sakura that I am lucky to saw before I came back. :) Sorry for long "outdated". Someone complained... :P

Earthquake

Ya, earthquake just happen here. First time experience.. I notice my table shake first because was using laptop then notice the whole room shake little little.. :P
Then went to check the news, it was really happened, and the news is updated very often.
It happened at around 1.55am and the report are shown here.
Although just "level 1" but can felt the shake since Japan building is a bit different. No concrete wall. I think got around 10 seconds. :P After that, the room light went blinking for few seconds. Scary huh? Excited ? What will you feel if it was you in this situation? I don't know how was my feeling..
Anyway, I am safe. Just write out my feeling. See you.

Chinatown (中華街)

It is weekend, so seniors and I went to the Chinatown(中華街) to experience how Chinatown will celebrate the Chinese New Year.
Erm.. it is in the Yokohama area too.

As you will see in the picture, it only a place that have a small stage which sponsored by.. You all should know.. it looked so clear.. Haha..
and a couple of performers perform on the stage..

The place is start to be crowded after a while and to take a good shot is a tough work, and eventually I found a "clever" people doing this, refer to the picture below.
Amazing right? Like this also can.. :)

Also a place for visitors to take picture with the "Lion Dance Head".. :)

Aomi (青海) Part Two

Now I will continue with the place that I give it a A++ marks because it is worth it. It is the inner part of the Palette Town! It is called Venus Fort. Nice name too. Haha.

When I stepped into the Venus Fort, Wow! That is nice! The design inside is really cool, is just liked i been went to another country! And one nice thing is the sky will change from time to time and it is definitely look real and without notice.. It will change from day to night and from night to day. You all can see the pictures below. :)

Why it is called Venus Fort? I don't know.. Sorry! Maybe because of this fountain? :P

And another Ferris Wheel here, and this is sooo big!! In addition, when night..
have a look by yourself..:)

Haha, it had been a mass post for me today, hope to make it till the latest, sorry for the delay, hope these new posts will make you all forgive me.. forgive and forget I did not update blog.. Haha.. (Something like curse, ahahaha)

Ok, back to the topic, this time I went to Aomi (青海), it is located near Tokyo Big Site which will held a quite numbers of event in a year.
(Spoiler:I went one of the events called Wonder Festival, wonder what is Wonder Festival? Stay tune for few more post!)

The main attractiveness here is the Palette Town.Nice name huh?

And inside this Palette Town, is really full of surprises! It is not what you look from outside. Ya, outside.. That means inside got many surprises!

Ya, it is winter season here and I heard that it had been sometimes that Tokyo and Yokohama area did not snow. And I am lucky, because when I wake up one day in the morning, it is snow!! I never have the experience.. And here is the scene from my room.

Roppongi (六本木)

Erm..Roppongi (六本木).. It is a special place too, there is a term called a city within a city, you all can search at google using the keywords "city within a city" or "tokyo midtown" and will find Roppongi.. Right out of the Roppongi station, you will easily spotted a big spider!! It is indeed an artwork actually.. Haha. Picture shown below. It is really big!

And it is also having some interesting places like TV Asahi(TV Station that brought Doraemon anime series popular), a nice lake(forget the name thought,:P)and more..

Ok, this time is a place called Ginza(銀座), it is a place that can be considered "high-class" :P.. When I first step out from the train station, Wow.. Many unknown branded shop..I can just recognize a few.. Like LV.. Wahaha..
And the purpose I came here is to find Nissan Car Show room and Mac Apple Store mentioned by my friend. And i found this!

It is the Nissan Concept Car! It even has a robot inside..
And there still another car that everyone dreaming for!!

It is Nissan GTR! Wow.. I only see this car with my own eyes first time.. :P

Tokyo Dome City

Yup, sorry for the delay.. It had been a couple of busy days for me.. This time I went for the Tokyo Dome City. At first, I was finding the JUMP Shop opened by Shonen Jump that selling stuff of Japanese Manga Character stuff like Naruto and Dragon Ball. But eventually come to this Tokyo Dome City, I thought I am at the wrong place but later I found that the shop is in the Tokyo Dome City.:)

And inside the so-called "city", Wow.. Really amazing..

I never thought that it is so interesting.. There have a theme park that having a roller coaster that will run through a hole on a building! You will see those in the picture later. And of course a ferris wheel. :P There are also a lot of restaurants and shops but mostly amusement things. Ok, no more words, I show the pictures, Haha..

Again, another review.. :P This time is Final Fantasy stuff, cannot tahan.. So bought it.. It is Final Fantasy 7 10th Anniversary Special Edition book with Potion! Ya, is potion, the one we use in game to heal our charater. Haha..

The design for the potion really good, it is really looked like the potion in the game Crisis Core. Haha.. Really Nice, and the potion can be drink. I will keep it first until i being hit by monster, Haha. No la, kidding.. really got monster meh?? :P That's all for this time. Stay tune.

Coming-of-Age Day(成人の日)

Haha, i know is late.. Sorry. Got pretty girl, don't worry. Haha. I went to Asakusa 浅草, where one of the famous temple is located. On the way to the temple, saw many girls wearing Kimono. :P and saw weird building... Pictures will be shown below. Haha. Since it is big day, so got quite numbers of mini-stall open, or we call it "penjaja". Haha, selling Japanese Snacks, like Tako-yaki(Sotong Ball), Yaki-soba(Char Mee), Yaki-tori(Fried Chicken) and more. Even Japanese Lok Lok, Haha.. Satay also got.. Show times!

You all may notice the Tokyo Tower right? Yup, we went there after the temple. Pai se cause night scene not so nice, since i am new in photograph also.. Haha. Anyway, show the best picture already. :P

P/S: And got my picture right? The main is not me, is Kimono Girls behind, Haha. Ok, stop here first. Next is Tokyo Dome City and Ginza(銀座) with Nissan Showroom!

Harajuku(原宿),Shinjuku(新宿) and Ueno(上野)

Today went to 3 places, Harajuku(原宿),Shinjuku(新宿) and Ueno
(上野). Like i promised, i took many pictures, Haha. Ok, first station is the Harajuku. I took some pictures of the place. A picture means thousand words. So let's take a look!

Harajuku is famous for the temple (明治神宮), Snoopy Town and those peoples wearing "special" costumes standing there offer FREE HUG or for you to take their picture. :P Like i show in the picture, Haha. I even manage to meet a ICE CRAFTING SHOW on the way to the temple. I will post those pictures soon.

Shinjuku will more like a high class place, i saw LV shop with my own eyes, Haha.. i noob.. Never saw this high class brand shop, Haha.. And today they are closing the road, and only allowed people walking. See the picture i took at the middle of the road, :)

Lastly, Ueno is the place that i think most people will like it, can said like pasar malam, Haha. We having Kebab for our dinner, it is very nice, the stall owner is truly a middle east people i think. He know many languages and keep saying different languages greeting to attract customers! The picture of the stall is somewhere above, Haha. After that, having a big takoyaki for snack! Very big! The ingredients have sausage, "little" egg (the one we called bird egg, :P)
, squid and prawn! Special! And just the train road is just above the street only.

Phew.. Tired for choosing the best picture, but i will post the rest in the album in Facebook, i try to arrange it. Erm., Tomorrow is public holiday in Japan, Coming-of-Age Day(成人の日), Japanese who turn 20 this year are celebrated on this day, heard that all girls will wearing Kimono to the temple.. Erm.. Will go try my luck tomorrow, Haha. See you..

Er.. how many of you still remember Masked Rider RX? or so called "Baja Hitam" Haha.. It is truly classic.. So i bought them when i saw these 2 little head. Haha.. Showtimes!

Ok, here come weekend! Today senior will bring me to Akihabara
(秋葉原), and we met at Shibuya before going there. While waiting for them, i snap a picture near the station exit. :)

For lunch, we went for original Japan Sushi in Shibuya! When i first step in the shop, wow! I can really smell the fish! It is so fresh.. no like Sushi-K*ng. :P And the size....erm... Another thing is here almost all is raw fish.. almost.. even have duck.. special le.. All that i had eaten, i can give A+. Haha! And those like what one plate 6 pieces one.. Here dun have wo.. Haha.. Erm, this shop special.. need to eat 7 plates or more in 30 minutes, then they count each 105 yen.. Can consider cheap.. since all same price.. no what colour plate what price. Haha. Here is the snapshot of the shop. Er, no Sushi picture, Pai se but it is really bigger and fresher than Sushi-K*ng. :P

After lunch, of course head for Akihabara! Wow! Excited! Haha.. It is around 28 minutes from Shibuya Station by taking the JR Line train. :) But today raining, quite hard to take good picture.. Anyway, already try my best. :)

As in the pictures, mainly all the shop are selling electronics, games and anime stuff. For games, there are quite many shops that are selling used games or used game consoles, from oldest to newest! Oldest like what we play last time, Mario, Pacman. Newest like Playstation 3 also got used one for sell! Cheaper a bit..:P Like i said just now, raining day, not so many people.. I am finding those people wearing maid costumes, but no chance, raining day plus winter. They all covered up.. Haha, Just notice their special hair band.. :P Tomorrow will go Harajuku(原宿) to try my luck since my senior say there are more this kind of stuff.. Haha. By the way, for those who concern, in the shop, no camera allowed, so no chance to show there are many Revoltech, Gundams and more.. And the price is cheaper than Malaysia some more. Haha.

After few hours, is time for rest and dinner. We dinner at Mos Burger at Akihabara, window shopping at a few more shops. Then we went back to Shibuya. Now, i take the chance to show you all the scene when so many people went across the road. It is truly special. Like in Tokyo Drift movie. Haha. And notice those tree without leaf? They decorated them to make them looked more nice since those trees already botak. Haha.

New Year Party.. 新年会/忘年会

As i said before, today my department will held a party, free for me, :P since i am new there. Haha. They call it 新年会 or 忘年会.. Their new year is on 1st January. So this party is considered late, Haha.. And I want to tell that they do not celebrate Chinese New Year, do not ask me why, i am very sure that there is no holiday in Japan for Chinese New Year, so do not misunderstand for some of you, :P

So today went to office, i brought along my new digicam. On the way from my living place to Eda Station, i will always pass by a house that having a very nice garden. The owner put some cute little statues. Will take more pictures on those. Show one first. Haha

And before go to office, bought another hot drink again, Haha. This time also tea, but is teh-o.. Haha. Yesterday one is teh susu. :P

And time for party! Haha. Having something that may called it Japanese Steamboat.. The package gave you free flow of drinks from their menu, including beer and sake, Japanese's favourite. For me, a little for kanpai only. Haha.

First, we are served some salad and Sashimi. The salad nice, and the Sashimi.... Not bad la, just..Erm, have to used to it. Haha. Right after that, is a fish, unknown fish that nice to eat! :)

Lastly, the main course! Good one, since it is winter now.. Haha.. Got fish,mushrooms, oyster and Tofu. Their Tofu is really different. After finish this, they even give some Udon (Or can called it Japanese mee) to cook in the soup! Nice!

That's all for today. Tomorrow i will go Akihabara(秋葉原)!! Must-Go-Place for who ever come to Japan, Well-Known for electronics, games and anime!! Haha..

Like usual, walking to the station, and went for working. Before go to office, walk to nearby vending machine and bought a can of hot tea, :P

Nice to have it in the cold morning. This drink is hot! 100 yen.

Today the work quite keep me busy, until did not realize already lunch time. :P Again, senior brought me to eat. This time is Italian restaurant i think, because the menu shown mainly is pasta and pizza. But i order what my senior had recommend. This! Hamburger Set, with mushroom, potato and egg, add another rice. Rice is extra one.

Not bad, quite tasty, sorry that did not take picture of that hamburger. Been covered up already.Cost around 800 yen. Haha.

Erm, then later dinner i eat McD, at the Eda Station. I order Mega Tamago regular set, i had taken picture of it already, but forget to save, aiks. So end up showing picture that other people taken, Pai se la.. But it is really big, bigger than BIG MAC!! I nearly cannot finish my french fries which is only regular size. (Details about the "regular size", look my previous post)

Just got my Japan phone.

Erm, suddenly today got my company phone, my senior help to get it since he got japanese alien card(foreigner card that only given to those who will stay there for one year. After one year when going back to home country, will be cut off.) It is really called alien card. Go google yourself. By the way, I had taken some pictures of the phone. :P

This phone not bad, its camera even have macro mode!i think around 2 cm.

Ok, never forget my dinner, indian food in Shibuya, cost me 850 yen, around RM28++. i order mutton masala with roti nan, not bad. Hot and spicy, nice to eat in winter season like now.. Haha.

And lastly, my camera, just bought yesterday, Sony DSC-H7, cost 38200 yen which around RM1270++, Malaysia sell this for RM1699.... 8.1 mega pixel, and 15x optical zoom. Can take picture of Mount Fuji from my room already. And of course i will not forget to take memorable scene. Please patient. :P

My Room & Road to Working Place @ Japan

Ok, now talk about my room in Japan, it is located at
神奈川県横浜市青葉区江田(荏田)町,
or Eda chou, Aoba-ku,Yokohama, Kanegawa which is terbalik,
神奈川 is Kanegawa , 横浜 is Yokohama, and so on.

Here is some pictures of my room and view from my room.
(My room can saw Mount Fuji if in clear day but since when i wake up, too many mist, when come back, already dark, will take picture of it again in weekend, Haha.)
p/s: here around 4.30pm Tokyo time already dark.

Walking to Eda station （江田駅）from my living place is around 10-15 minutes, with shortcut will be around 10 minutes. (I found this shortcut at second day when i found a guy was behind me a distance when i walking to station, but suddenly disappear, then only after founded that he already bypass me! Haha. later when i back from work, then i tried to find it, luckily i found it. :)

Ok, i will show some pictures around the station.

Japan McD near the station, senior treat me. I choose prawn burger. May show picture i half way eat next time, to show how many those little prawn in there, ahahah. And see the french fries? It is only regular size, to compare in Malaysia.... :P

And taking train to Shibuya station(渋谷駅), 30-45 minutes for normal train that will stop every station (各停) 20-25 minutes for express train (急行) that will skip Eda station. :( Going back can take express, but need change train in middle station. Then, going to work, sure cannot take express, they skip my station.

Then, my working place is around 10-15 minutes from Shibuya Eki, which i will show below.

On the plane to Japan.

Finally, been assigned to Japan for 3-months project. The flight from Penang to KL, ok la.. give juice and peanuts for beverage. No take picture because my PSP camera cacat in low light. :P

Erm, flight to Narita, Japan from KL. Not bad. Got TV screen for each passenger. See the picture below.

Start here, roughly explain what those menu are.

For the movie menu, can choose any movie to watch, with language option, English and some others which i dunno, and of course Japanese. All with japanese subtitle also. Want to know got what movie to watch? Stardust, Meet the Robinsons, Rush Hours 3, The Bourne Ultimatum, and even old movie Gremlins.

Audio is just hear the audio for main screen above corridor(not same with our front TV)

Games is to play games with their special controller.(aiks, forget to take picture of it)Erm, multipurpose one, front is normal controller for TV, back is phone can call international with credit card slot at side to swipe your card, US$7.50 per minutes!! then with front view and turn it horizontal is joystick to play games! Normal games like tetris and Solitaire.

JAL(Japan Airlines) Shop is menu to see the price list for the items JAL sell.

Destination Guide of course is for something like tourist guide, nothing special though.

Audio Playlist is for you to choose any type of songs(Classics, J-Pop, even Asian Musics) then will got someone like DJ to introduce each song before playing. Will explain in English and Chinese. The way he pronounces the song name in english very funny, like pretend a "ANG MO" say chinese. But when he introduce in chinese ok wo.. weird. Should record it one. Wahaha.

Flight Map is show the current status like below pictures.

And some other screen showing world map that indicate where the plane reach and got what place around it, like pass by what place in what country.

And Bird Eye View Camera is the camera view that put underneath the plane. Below is the picture when about to reach. (Did not take before reach since my flight is night, so nothing is see, hahaha)

Last 2 options no special also, one is instruction on arriving Japan like security procedure, another is instruction on the SPECIAL controller i mentioned. :P

and the bowl in the middle is not my leftover, is they less gave me this bowl. the set should have two side dishes and one of them is this middle one. haha.

Now really is my leftover, haha. i pull the plate a bit to the side to show the secret how their meal is keeping warm. There is a iron plate will transfer the heat from the place they keep this meal directly to the meal plate. So it will be warm.

Me noobs first time eat airplane meal. haha. Long time ago dun count la, went to singapore one. Totally forget already.

Erm, this meal can be rated as 8 marks, what u saw in the meal is different from what you may expected when you taste it. :)

and like what they estimated, i reach Narita, Japan on time which is around 6.43am (Japan time), minus one hour for Malaysia time which is 5.43am.
